Summary of Changes from Previous Version
1) moderation â€" where the marks from individual student assessments tasks are reviewed as part of quality control actions with the aim to ensure consistently across markers and to maintain sector standard; and
2) Validation â€" where ensuring the assessment task is to the standard/level/appropriateness and that each assessment task has the potential to demonstrate attainment of the subject and course intended learning outcomes. All subjects undergo validation during the initial design phase or as part of the approval changes for subject changes.
