This is the first document to be published in Melbourne Polytechnic's new Policy Register. Summary of Changes from Previous Version

Edition 1: Academic Board – 7/09/2017 – New Enrolment (HE) Policy.
The new features of the Enrolment (HE) Policy are:
- Enrolment overload requirements have changed from final semester to any semester where a student has achieved a Credit average or above in the last 12 months of study. Students may take up to 12 additional credit points across the whole year. This will accommodate both 6 credit point and 12 credit point subject offerings.
- Option to cancel a student’s enrolment added
- Deferral process will be managed under the Selection and Admission (HE) Policy/Procedure
- Leave of absence requests will be considered after completion of one semester of study
- Students can withdraw up to the end of Week 9 without academic penalty
- Concurrent enrolment added
- Student communication to be provided through official Melbourne Polytechnic email account and address
