Summary of Changes from Previous Version

This is the first document to be published in Melbourne Polytechnic's new Policy Register. It is basically equivalent to the document that was approved and in effect at the time the migration occurred, except for the numbering system and references, which have been updated to align with the new formatting and current requirements.

Edition 2: Frances Coppolillo, Chief Executive – 3/12/2021 – Student Complaints and Appeals Policy updated with revisions made in response to recommendations from an internal audit of Melbourne Polytechnic’s Student Complaints and Appeals policy and procedures. Roles updated as per current organisational structure. Transfer to new policy template.

Edition 1: Melbourne Polytechnic Executive – 19/05/2017 – Student Complaints and Appeals Policy is a new policy, which supersedes the Student Complaints Policy and Procedure – B/SV/D/7/007. The Student Complaints Policy and Procedure has been divided into a policy and a separate procedure and revision to stages in Complaints and Appeals Framework.



09/10/2024: Position name changed from Executive Director Student Engagement International and Community Partnerships (EDSEICP) to Executive Director People and Student Success (EDPSS)
