Summary of Changes from Previous Version

This is the first document to be published in Melbourne Polytechnic's new Policy Register. It is basically equivalent to the document that was approved and in effect at the time the migration occurred, except for the numbering system and references, which have been updated to align with the new formatting and current requirements.

Edition 2: Daryl Sadgrove, Executive Director Strategy Performance and Governance – 21/07/2022 – Articulation Agreement Procedure, updated with minor amendments to capture changed approval descriptions for VET Articulation Agreements and HE Articulation Agreements. 

Minor amendments included are as follows:

This minor update will support the implementation of the WELs Governance Review Recommendations and alignment with MP Board delegations to HEAB (see Melbourne Polytechnic Instrument of Delegations – Higher Education Academic Board).

2 Course development, accreditation and review

2.1 Approves articulation agreements

Updated to align with Curriculum Board Terms of Reference, 28th January 2022.

Purpose “The purpose of the Curriculum Board is to assure effective curriculum development processes in VET and Foundation, and that course development, course materials, and described method of course delivery meets (at a minimum) compliance requirements”.
