Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The Assessment, Credit and Moderation (HE) Policy updated with minor amendments approved on 29 July 2024, to include:
• Student Subject Outline must be updated on Learning Management System (Moodle) to reflect changes made
• Changes to wordings to further clarify processes as well as roles and responsibilities
• Links to updated policies and procedures as well as supporting documents and templates
• Scaling for marks can now be applied by the Committee after grade distribution has been reviewed
• Grade for the final assessment task is now not released to the student until the final subject result has been ratified by the Committee
• Some definitions added / updated for clarity.

Minor amendments noted at Higher Education Academic Board and approved by Accountable Policy Owner in alignment with the 2024 revised Policy Framework.
