Summary of Changes from Previous Version

This is the first document to be published in Melbourne Polytechnic's new Policy Register. It is basically equivalent to the document that was approved and in effect at the time the migration occurred, except for the numbering system and references, which have been updated to align with the new formatting and current requirements.

Edition 3: Frances Coppolillo, Deputy CEO – 15/12/2015 – Policy to Support Students with Disabilities - B/SV/D/7/006, updated. Rebranded and updated in alignment with current legislation and best practice.

Edition 2: NMIT Board – 6/12/2010 – Policy to Support Students with Disabilities - B/SV/D/7/006, updated. The mechanism for handling complaints related to this policy has been aligned with the Student Complaints and Grievances Policy and Procedure.

Edition 1: Institute Council – 30/06/2008 – Policy to Support Students with Disabilities - B/SV/D/7/006. New Policy (previous edition (2) removed and new policy developed). Divisional code amended.

Content changed to reflect that NMIT Council became the Board of the Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE in 2007.
