Minor amendment – Reviewed and updated to capture the amended timeline in clause 5 as follows: From - (5) Commencing Higher Education students complete a required Academic Integrity module on Moodle in the first two weeks of classes or other approved equivalent training approved by the Academic Integrity Officer. Updated to - (5) Commencing Higher Education students complete a required Academic Integrity module on Moodle in the first four weeks of classes or other approved equivalent training approved by the Academic Integrity Officer. Edition 1, Melbourne Polytechnic Board – 12/12/2022. This new procedure supersedes the existing Student Academic Integrity (HE) Procedure that previously only covered Higher Education students. This procedure covers all students and includes research integrity as a component of academic integrity. Appendices included provide guidance on academic integrity breaches, responses and penalties for Higher Education, Foundation and VET students. As well as summary processes for informal and formal investigations of suspected breaches. The procedure considers feedback from a TEQSA audit undertaken in 2022 that reviewed Melbourne Polytechnic’s existing Academic Integrity (HE) Policy and academic integrity governance and management framework.
