Summary of Changes from Previous Version

This is the first document to be published in Melbourne Polytechnic's new Policy Register. It is basically equivalent to the document that was approved and in effect at the time the migration occurred, except for the numbering system and references, which have been updated to align with the new formatting and current requirements.

Edition 1: Frances Coppolillo, Chief Executive – 8/07/2022 – New Animal Ethics Conscientious Objection Procedure.

Addition of procedure to further support Students who are engaging in Teaching that involves the use of animals.

This procedure update has taken into consideration the Veterinary and Animal care industry sector improvements to support professional practicians mental health.  These improvements include recognition of negative mental health impacts for practitioners in this sector as well as inserting mental health resilience into qualifications.
