  • Gender Identity PolicyTo ensure Melbourne Polytechnic support gender identity, including those with intersex status, in line with both the Victorian Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic) and the Sex Discrimination Act 1984 (Cth).
  • General Revenue ProcedureTo identify type and allocation of payments made by staff and students where there is no specific Institute form in place.
  • Gifts, Benefits and Hospitality PolicyThis policy states Melbourne Polytechnic’s position on
    - Responding to offers of gifts, benefits and hospitality; and
    - Providing gifts, benefits and hospitality.

    This policy is intended to support individuals and Melbourne Polytechnic to avoid conflicts of interest and maintain high levels of integrity and public trust. This policy has been developed in accordance with:
    - Behaviour consistent with the Code of Conduct for Victorian Public Sector Employees
    - Requirements outlined in the Gifts, benefits and hospitality guide issued by the Victorian Public Sector Commission
  • Granting of AQF Qualifications Approval ProcedureThis Procedure outlines the processes for verifying eligibility and approval for the granting of Awards in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Authority (TEQSA) and the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) 2015 Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to Higher Education and Non-Apprentice/Trainee VET domestic and offshore students who have completed a:
    a. Higher Education Program;
    b. Nationally Recognised Qualification;
    c. State Accredited Course; or
    d. Institute Accredited Course.
  • Granting of Awards PolicyThe purpose of this policy is to outline the requirements for the issuance of qualifications.
